SOUND OUT
SOUND OUT was held at Stratford Town Hall on the 22nd March 2006. Attendees were keen to compare their experiences of involving young people in making decisions about their mental health. It was a lively and generative day, with many creative projects presented by speakers and visitors alike.
The event included (clockwise from top left): Robert Maragh talking about the aspirations for participation; spring daffodils in pots; Hakim Shakur (a Newham care leaver) chairs the event; Dipti Morjaria speaks about Newham Children's Rights Counselling Service; badges from the day; Barbara Herts from Young Minds describes examples of good practice; and attendees tuck in to a delicious lunch provided by wild city.
