Newham Schools Counselling Service
One to one counselling. We are currently proposing to develop our service and to provide a ‘package’ which would include individual Counselling or group work. We will also be offering consultation and support services for Heads, teachers and SENCOs in work with children with emotional difficulties and the impact on the whole class, understanding the emotional factors in learning and teaching and how that can help with IEPs, improving relationships in School .

School Nursing Service
General advice on health matters. Advise on managing specific health concerns in school. Child protection work. Visit schools. Offer health checks for children during their first year in school and at other times when the need arises. Work with and take referrals from young people, parents, health professionals and other agencies. Support children in school who have specific health needs. Offer health advise and support through schools and clinic bases work with teachers in the classroom teaching children and young people about healthy living. Deliver a school based immunisation programme.

St Stephens Sure Start Children's Centre
The centre is based on the principle of making life easier for parents and their children by providing a range of services in one location. English classes if not first language.
