Adolescent Specialist Addiction Treatment Service (ASATS)
ASATS works assertively with young people, their families and other community agencies to offer services that address complex substance misuse needs [tier 3 & 4], in a creative and collaborative way. ASATS can provide, Community detoxification, Opiate Replacement Therapies, Structured Substance Misuse Counselling, Relapse Prevention Work, Harm Reduction Services, tier 4 assessments leading to placement in inpatient/residential drug and alcohol treatment services.

Child and Family Consultation Service (CFCS)
CFCS employ a range of specialist CAMHS practitioners in child psychotherapy, clinical psychology, educational psychology, family therapy, art therapy, nursing, psychiatry and social work. There are emergency psychiatric and self-harm rotas, and highly specialist teams for conduct disorder, adolescent mental health, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, learning disabilities, hospital liaison and complex problems. There are a number of outreach and liaison links, including Early Start services.

Newham Schools Counselling Service
One to one counselling. We are currently proposing to develop our service and to provide a ‘package’ which would include individual Counselling or group work. We will also be offering consultation and support services for Heads, teachers and SENCOs in work with children with emotional difficulties and the impact on the whole class, understanding the emotional factors in learning and teaching and how that can help with IEPs, improving relationships in School .

We work directly with children and their families to help improve their function and therefore quality of life. Also work with Newham schools community services, parent and leisure groups.
